Overcast skies, no precipitation, temperatures around 30 F, winds were light and variable
Snowpack
Snow coverage continues to be sparse. The landscape is either bare ground, ice, or old wind-drifted snow. No formal snowpits were dug. The snow is mostly concentrated in high alpine bowls and gullies. The snow surface is primarily hard and icy. As mentioned in the last observation, until we get a refresh of snowfall, the likelihood of triggering an avalanche remains low.
