Did not observe any indications of recent avalanches in my view shed. Ski cutting on NW aspect of Blueberry Knoll produced shooting cracks (pic). Did quick pit at same site. Elevation = 2400ft, SA = 20deg, HS = 230cm. Did not expose snow profilde to ground level. Top down; 15cm F new and wind transported snow, overlying 5cm K MF crust, overlying pencil rounds. Got CTN. Ski cutting on wind loaded NW aspect slopes produced shooting cracks (pic).

Tour started with mostly cloudy skies with an occasional sunny break. Gusty winds nearly blew me off the ridgetop. At midday the Glen Alps weather station recorded SSE gusts of up to 40 mph. Was 34deg at 1500. By 1700 weather had moved in and was starting to snow.
Snowpack
Snowpack consisted of 1F10-12 cm new and wind transported snow on hard MF crust, underlain by pencil rounds.
