Quick report

Snow is deep! Harder skiing down than skiing up.

Avalanche

From the top of Sunburst looking down towards Taylor Pass I saw fresh debris of what looked like a glide release. Possibly started from the upper 3rd portion of a south facing slope towards the wx station. Debris almost made it down to the creek, I didn’t have great visibility at the time and didn’t get a great look but it was a sizeable amount of debris (D2) and what looked like dirt near the perceived start zone. This was at 3PM. Not sure what time it occurred and didn’t observe other skiers touring up Taylor Pass nor further up the ridge from my stopping point.
