Snowmobiled in from three creeks snow park (thin but rideable snow on road) to the yurts and then toured up to proboscis around 9:30 am. Moderate snow fall throughout assent and moderate wind from the south west once we were on top of the jelly roll. Stomped on some fresh cornices and got some1 foot deep chunks to brake under our skis but no propagation. Noticed some cracking in the top 3-4 inches of snow on the final assent to the top of the proboscis. Snow just under the ridge felt unconsolidated and showed little wind effect in several hand shear tests. Triggered small D1 soft wind/storm slab on convex roll part way down proboscis (see photo). Skier exited right of debris and stayed on feet. Slide ran 50 feet down to lower angle terrain. Proceeded to check out east peak as continued snow fall, wind and limited visibility detoured us from moving into bigger terrain. Great lap down to the yurts from east peak. After lunch at yurts, weather cleared so we ventured back up to the proboscis and noticed more tracks there and in orchard bowl with no signs of more slides. Seeing tacks drop in from the top of orchard and not observing any cracking on the wind affected snow as we traveled along the rim of the bowl, we dropped in the top did a couple laps in the great snow at orchard. Epic day out there!
