Natural cornice failure on Cardiff Peak on a southwest aspect at 1 pm. Cornice that fell was car-sized and rolled down the face, which entrained snow and sluffed but didn't trigger any real sliding. Would have been gnarly if any of the larger blocks hit a skier, but thankfully no one was underneath it.
