isolated

north winds transporting snow on ridges. shallow snowpack with ground facets and a harder layer just above the facets. localized collapse/wumphfing on low angle west and south aspects. experienced localized collapse (whumphfing) on both west and south aspects at low angles. area of collapse <3m2. on north aspect ectn at several depths, but mostly within the new snow, did not propogate, rough break (formerly known as Q3).

Snowpack

snow depth varied from 20-55cm. height of ground facets varied from 5-15cm. 5-10cm pencil hard layer frequently present above the facets, otherwise nearly all snow fist hard.
