Quick report
Today we rode below the Lionhead Ridge past Denny Creek. It was snowing (S-1 to S1) while we were out there and stopped on our way at back out. Winds were calm. It seemed like it was closer to rain than snowfall in the parking lot. Our visibility was pretty limited today. It improved while we were riding back out.
The upper 3 inches are moist even in elevations above 8000 feet probably due to warm temperatures over the last couple of days. We observed roller balls and 2 small wet loose avalanches.
Our ECT at a northeasterly facing slope at 8400 feet resulted in propagation (ECTP21) on the persistent weak layer that is ~2feet down from the surface.
We observed 2 recent avalanches, probably cornice triggered that released on that layer and accumulated decent sized debris (D2).
We didn't observe any cracking or collapsing.

Saw two D2 avalanches, probably cornice triggered in "Looks like Hidden" and "Always Slides" which are in the first open bowls of the corniced Lionhead ridge. Also obsereved two D1 natural wet loose in the same area.
