Snowpack

Below 5000' snowpack heights quickly decline. 

5000' East aspect - snowpack height 3 ft.  Hard rain crust (1" thick) down 1ft,  moist/wet snow underneath.

6200' N/ NE aspects- snowpack height 5 ft. Hard rain crust (Feb. 3rd) down 1.5 ft. Small recent cornice formation and wind deposit. E-S aspects - variable distribution thin melt freeze crust down 1 ft. Thin layer of grapel buried yesterday, down 4", and some known surface hoar in same layer but was not found today. 

6300' N aspect: Snowpack height ~6ft (180cm). ECTN1, CT4 Q3 down ~4"(10cm). ECTN13 down  ~1ft (35cm). CT28 Q3 down ~1.5ft (45cm). Feb 3rd rain crust (4" thick, knife to pencil hard) down ~2ft (55cm)
