Quick report
Took Finley mine road from Hwy 108 to Grouse Meadows. With the new snow, the road has coverage all the way down to people’s gate to park/drop sleds however I didn’t see real powder accumulating until I got above 8,000 feet. The snow above 8,000 feet remained relatively warm and started coming down fast with little to no wind. Overall the northern aspects had really soft and playful snow despite being so early into this storm and I didn’t see any signs of instability. be mindful of creeks and vegetation that’s still exposed on southern aspects.
