Triggered three (!) storms slabs within the first pitch of the Great White Icicle, all small but the third had some spring to it and was dense. Due to the unknown factors of how much the (historically) large avalanche last year changed the layout above the GWI I think it's safe to say that probably nobody has any real idea yet how much danger there is from above...being that the trees destroyed at the base where 50 plus years old and GWI was first climbed in 1963. Additional thoughts about that would be welcome. Definitely a touchy snowpack there on not steep terrain, bailed from there for obvious reasons.
