Recent storm snow generally homogeneous and stable at depths 0-60cm (down to faceted layer.)

- <p>Distinct, homogeneous faceted layer exists 30cm up from soil (60cm down in a 90cm snowpack.) Facets were generally unreactive - unyielding to a column test, failing only with repeated hard hits.</p> <p> </p> <p>Extended column test showed similar results, with no fracture occuring until full arm strike #9, and no propogation occuring.</p>
