Quick report
Headed out to the Enchantments with the goal of climbing Colchuck and Dragontail Peaks. Bailed on those due to avy risk, and ended up going up Little A instead. Overall, dry conditions to about 7600ft, and then much more snow than expected in the core. Hard to say how much was new from the most recent storm, but generally appeared to be about 4-5 inches of fresh snow on top of a stout crust. On the Colchuck Glacier we observed numerous fresh looking wet loose debris along the entire NW aspect of the glacier. In the bowl underneath Dragontail Col we observed numerous fresh looking wet loose debris along the NE and NW aspects of the bowl, as well as some roller balls on South aspects and two large cornices guarding the col. In the early afternoon on our descent, we saw two fresh D1 wet loose slides that appeared to have been triggered by a climber. On the NE aspect of Little A that we climbed, we found 3-4 inches of wet new snow with about ankle deep boot pen, as well as isolated pockets of 3-4 inch wind slab. Both felt stubborn and non-reactive.

Multiple fresh avalanches on NE aspects of bowl beneath Dragontail Peak on our approach to Little A around 1100. Two fresh D1 wet loose slides that appeared climber triggered on E aspects on our descent around 1400.
