Quick report

The snowpack is in a transition phase between storms. The expexted weather arrived later than forecasted with no precipitation falling during the field day. Instead, we had warm damp conditions with strong southwest winds.

Upper elevations had a strong wind effect and loading onto N-E aspects.

The persistent slab problem around buried crusts was present and, although inconsistent in extended column tests, showed propagation potential in saw propagation tests.
