Quick report

Snowpack seems more rightside up and stable than one would have expected. Travel was improving on snowmobiles.

We saw some evidence of natural avalanches on East and North aspects just under cornices. Otherwise not much. Natural avalanche activity evidence seems to have been erased by wind and new snow overnight.

Snowpack

Test pit and mit pits showed soft stable snow in the upper snowpack. Not terribly upside down with a mid storm denser layer from Sunday beneth...Around 100 cm below there is a density change from early in the storm (3/13) that has some fragments of surface facets and hoar that are giving propigating results after 28-30 taps (ECTP). This would be hard to trigger.
