Quick report

Cracking
isolated

The snow was remarkably stable. Sun exposed terrain definitely started shedding— especially around cliff bands. Other than some small wet loose on sun exposed aspects, we didn’t see anything concerning on the approach. North facing aspects still skied really well. The descent down stoneman also seemed stable. There were 2-3 inch deep small probably wind slabs that I popped on the steeper upper portion of the col, but they were all small, isolated, and not really a concern for skiing. The exit was heavy but it all seemed stable. Beta wise, if anyone decides to do stoneman anytime soon, don’t follow tracks. We messed up and did some exploring before we managed to get off the cliff bands. Also there was a snow bridge over the creek.
