Context: backcountry skiing around Chair Peak/Snowlake divide, Great Scott bowl. Left apental 8:00 AM. at 4500 - 5000 feet, approach to Another Cool Chute, observed right-side-up snow pack with a crust at 36". Under the rock wall observed wind affected snow that was consolidating into a layer that cracked and sloughed. noted wind plastered snow on the rocks and more wind blown snow collecting (did not venture over to test). snow was light and and deep above 4800 feet and heavier below. Overall snow in Great Scott Bowl, Snow Lake Divide, ACC was not consolidated above the crust. Rocks barely covered at the narrow top of No Fog
