Skinned up to Fortune Peak via the south ridge. Snow up to 6,000' was granular faceted slush above the previous frozen crust and less reactive than previous days. Noticable rollerballs, point releases and small cornice activity on all observed aspects SW-NE. Snow above 6,500' was heavy wet snow that had not started a freeze/thaw cycle. Pole pit test at 6,923' on south ridge of Fortune Bowl showed an easy to release 10" slab over the frozen crust. Choose not to ski Fortune Bowl due to observed instability. Skiing was heavy snow, transitioning to smeary wet granules below 6,000'. Lots of minor creek crossings and low coverage affected route finding.
