Snowpack
Slightly moist surfaces <5800ft N-NW with skins glopping and rollerballs. Interestingly, surfaces were just barely moist from 7,100-7,400ft on ENE-N. Ski quality felt smooth and dry throughout terrain >4,500ft. Above 6,500ft we found 10-35cm of recent soft snow overlying stiff, old wind-drifted slabs. A quick profile at 6,900ft found moderate to hard hand shears were planar, but rough down 35cm at the interface of the older drifted slabs.

One notable cornice fall avalanche, D1.5, likely occurred on the 21st. Unlike another reported nearby, this one involved only surface layers, and entrained minimal snow. The cornice blocks on their own were sizeable. It originated from the top of typical ski line in First Bowl. Multiple small loose dry and loose wet slides from the past 3 days on E-N-NW originating from cliffs and very steep terrain, mostly >5,500ft.
