Quick report

Approximately 17cm of new snow consolidated slightly over 14cm of softer old snow. Pole tests at different elevations (2600-3600) and aspects (NE to E) showed a slightly upside-down snowpack at all locations more than 100 vertical feet downslope from the ridge. Isolated column was dug down below most recent crust, and broke through the soft layer after 7 wrist hits. Some cracking seen in the top snow when trying to collapse small steep sections (~45°) over creeks, but no collapsing occurred.
