Quick report

A quiet day roaming Commonwealth/Kendall with everyone else. Even after our low-key Laconia morning-meeting start, there were oodles of travelers heading into Commonwealth. Saw less instability than expected and pleasantly surprised to see that terrain-usage wasn't nearly as aggressive as we imagined. Ski quality, both forest and glade, was quite nice, and we saw plenty of smiles as everyone worked together to manage terrain. Monitored the Kendall community-radio channel (3-7) and heard nobody all day, even when asking around to see if anyone else was on the channel -- we're out there and want to coordinate with you. Slides noted were limited to loose-dry slides that ran yesterday. Nary a slab-release to be seen, even on the wide south-side of Snoqualmie Mountain. Weather featured light winds, moderate temperatures, and plenty of sunbreaks. Snow-surface quality was not heavily impacted by the sun.
