Quick report
Around the Baker BC found minimal avalanche danger other than a bit of sluff on steep slopes and a few very small wind loaded pockets. Suspect slightly higher danger at upper elevations given more snow and wind on Dec 7th.
Triggered a few very small, very unsupported test slopes. 20-25cm deep releasing on a layer of new snow above the crust. No other signs of instability.Weather

Overcast/obscured with snow showers to broken skies midday. Mostly calm through the morning.
Snowpack
In wind-sheltered terrain 30cm of light-density new snow (F>4F) above a 5cm melt-freeze crust. Alternating rounded grain and melt-form layers below the crust, not wet but not frozen either, mostly 1F. At 5000' the crust and moist snow below were found to be supportable, not punchy and hollow. 45-60cm of new snow in wind-loaded locations with some 1F over 4F layering found within. The 1F/4F interface was unreactive in shovel tilt and most slope tests. HS at mid-elevations 80-150cm.
