Quick report

5-6" of new snow up high above 5k. Strong northern winds significantly affected snow surfaces north of Cascade River (Forbidden/Eldo/Buckner). Further to the south, surfaces were still soft and un-affected until 3/7. Saw numerous old crown lines, likely from the warm-up/atmospheric river last week. Most notable slide was an estimated D3.5 natural that had run from Hurry-Up all the way down to Trapper Lake. Triggered a D1 wind slab when skiing off Alliteration Col onto the south slopes towards Trapper Lake. Was not caught.

Snowpack

Well-settled mid-pack with a crust capping old rounds. 5-6" of soft new snow from the storm 3/4. Increasing northerly winds 3/5-3/7 has transported this snow around.
