Quick report

We rode to about 6500 feet today, the new snow was definitely a welcome change. Did not see any signs of unstable snow although we did stay on low angle terrain. We did see some wind effected snow on south and east facing terrain. There is definitely plenty of snow available for transport. I dug a quick pit and found about 27 cm of new snow that was very unreactive. Ctx, shovel shear did bring all the new snow off the hard layer underneath. I did not find buried surface hoar in this location but there was a pretty significant layer of faceted snow below the new snow from the storm.
