Standard route. Up from Glacier Basin to Steamboat Prow then up the Corridor to 12,500' before turning around.

This morning it was still flurrying/snowing in Glacier Basin. Cloud cover was thick up to halfway up the Interglacier. The snow was not refrozen below 7k or so. Pretty quickly it turned firm and had a verglas layer from 8k onwards. Easy booting at that point up to the prow. Winds were cranking up high all day. We continued on towards the Corridor and began to find cold, chalky snow. The Corridor and upper mountain is FAT. Almost no crevasses are showing yet and you can take a direct line up from the Corridor towards the summit. We opted to turn around at 12,500 because winds became consistently strong enough to push us off balance and didn't seem to ease up even after we got back to the car. At points a lenticular cloud had formed on the summit. Great chalky snow down the Corridor. The upper half of the Interglacier was lovely hot pow before it turned to gross mush. Needs to burn down after this storm. Probably a foot or more of unconsolidated snow beneath a superficial crust.
