Witnessed a group of skiers coming through DOA trigger an avalanche on the slope below the couloir. The avalanche started as a size 1 that released just above the cliff band that normally fills in to create the distinct convexity on the slope below the couloir, and caused two secondary releases, one directly below the aforementioned cliff band and the other closer to the bottom of the usual ski out. We had observed cross-loading on these slopes over the course of the day; the involvement of the November weak layer was unclear. From our distance, the releases were estimated to be ~10m wide and at least 30cm deep. The length from the highest crown to the toe of the debris was about 200m. Watched for several minutes as the group made their way down, fortunately it appeared that no one was caught.
