Quick Observation
Sluffing and wind slabs up to 3 inches thick, traveling 2 to 300 feet in Grizzly Couloir, in a cloud, easy to mitigate. Had a bit of everything on the way out, amazing riding, and extremely sticky/slow isothermal slow in valley bottom on way out. A little late in starting, due to staying up too late worrying about a missing friend, not seen since Monday morning, so did change our objective. Definitely wet loose, not dry, seen at all elevations. Lower down even more wet loose, almost slabby releases. At least size 1. Easier to travel with a slide in the trees, than actually ski the surface it was so sticky. Saw separation - from the Grizzly slide, with snowpack separating with 8 foot holes to surface level, pulling the snowpack down. Silly amazing skiing between the clouds and valley bottom, made of dreams.
