Spent 2 nights camping below the Commander glacier over Easter weekend. Lots of evidence of the large avalanche cycle that occurred in March on all aspects. Numerous wet loose avalanches observed on South facing terrain in the afternoon, some gouging to ground. Below 2000m, snow was moist/wet in the afternoon on all aspects. Settled, dry pow on NW through E facing terrain above 2200m. We skied on Commander Glacier below the Cleaver, and skied from the North summit of Commander (NE face). Jumbo mountain is bare glacier ice, and rime on ice. Karnak looks in great shape. Snow depth >3m everywhere we probed on the glacier.
