SSE Side Near lighting strike

We did see some surface hoar forming on to, in certain sections

Visibility deteriorated as cloud cover rolled in near 2pm

AST2 Dug a pit in sun exposed open trees. Conducted 2 column tests and an extended column test. Both column test ended up with the same results. Column Test - CT 17 20 cm -> RP, CT 21 17cm -> RP (observed above previous result), CT 30 50cm SP (rounding surface hoar above ad crust), Extended Column Test - ECT 17, Observed reaction, but did not propagate, ECT 30, Observed reaction, but did not propagate, Additional note - We dug down to ground level and observed faceted snow.
