Snow was decent on the front side, around the Sunshine bowl and the first ridge. Approx 30 cm fresh powder on top of a rain crust. Compression test failed this layer at CTE10, so slab avalanches are likely in the right areas. The Aluminum bowl had many natural avalanches in the last 48 hrs. Past there and into the Bears den snow was very hard and wind blown.
