Explored terrain off of the Mt. Washington Road today. It was raining a few cm an hour this morning which wasn't super inspiring but the sledding was actually quite supportive and buoyant, the verb of the day was "porposing" as we dove in and out 100 to 150 cm of rain soaked snow. It would have been crummy backcountry skiing, but the sledding was pretty darn fun. Skies cleared in the afternoon revealing a strange glowing orb that we haven't seen in some time. In the afternoon we observed a surface crust forming on north facing features above 1000 m.
