<p>Big wind pillows and some wind slabs observed in sheltered, wind loaded zones. A persistent weak layer exists between 17 and 36 cm (100 cm HS) on North facing mid elevation slopes.</p>

Instability Comment
<p>Moderate, sustained winds from the North led to a lot of wind deposition and the formation of wind slabs on some south facing aspects and on the south side of some sub ridges.</p> <p>See above in Red Flags.</p>

Zones that were sheltered from the wind held fresh, fluffy powder that was fun to ride. Wind crust observed on exposed ridgetop.
