I would rate the hazard at a scary moderate as one moves east toward the core of the range at elevations above 10500.

- <p>There is still a great deal of weak snow buried under a stout surface slab 50-70cm thick. Depending on location the weak layer interface likely varies how sharp of a transition exists between layers. With a significant loading even in the future I would expect more large avalanches into old snow.</p>
