Crossover path wind f*****

We were heading towards herdmans couloir and were expecting debris in the slidepath. But we were not expecting meeting with windslab and windscoured snow where there was no debris which slowed our ascent. We climbed up to 1750 m and saw that the snow wouldn’t get better higher. Herdmans couloir looked also filled with debris from recent avalanche or major sluffing. The windslab on the ski down was grabby. See snow plumes on attached photo.
