Quick Observation
Sun affect was very strong in the cougar valley today. Attempted Christmas couloir but turned around halfway up the couloir, surface snow became very wet, rollerballs off rock outcroppings and sluffs off the rock walls of Ursus Major made us turn around at 10:30am. Sat near the base for the next two hours to enjoy the sun and saw 30+ dry loose sluffs coming off all solar aspects with several up to size 2.
Avalanche Information
At least two size 2 dry loose avalanches came down off various solar aspects
