Fat slabs!

We didn't see much because of the weather but we did see 1 small natural avalanche that likely happened yesterday in a steep wind loaded feature. The warm temperatures made the surface of the snow quite heavy and cakey. Because of the challenging riding, elevated avalanche hazard, and poor visibility we stayed in the open terrain near the lake and enjoyed some really deep riding! More snow is on the way!
