Evening ridge/whales back

Slightly late start and change of venue after some forgotten skins… still a great day though! We skinned up through hummingbird pass and evening ridge. There’s a definite crust which has bonded well with the old surface hoar, under 10-15cm fresh snow and a new SH forming on this, more so at higher elevations it seemed. Skied down the S side of whales back with very varied conditions, the crust always there to bite! Lower down some of the SE aspects had collected slightly more powder, up to ~20cm. Only minor sloughing on steeper slopes.
