Shooting cracks noted on the skin up to Iago. The recent storm snow (top ~20cm of snowpack) does not appear to be bonding well in areas with a sun crust and/or wind effect. No whumpfing or drum-like sounds observed.

Snow conditions were: Deep powder, Powder, Wind affected. Weather conditions were: Cloudy. We rode: Dense trees, Mellow slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Steep slopes. Riding quality was good.

Avalache Conditions: Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Skier triggered size 0.5 slab avalanche while skiing over a convex roll between two trees into Iago North Bowl. The slide propagated ~70m across the slope, the skier was able to ski out.
