<p>Only isolated wind slabs on predictable features, and some cornices. We did not ski south facing slopes, which would be a significant concern. Compression tests gave hard, resistant-planar results down 27cm, just below an ice crust layer. No avalanches observed. Ski quality good above 1800m where there is no wind effect.</p>

<p>Warm in the sun, when it came out. Snow surface temperature -3C. Dry snow on north aspects from 2200m down to 1800. Decent skiing!</p>
