Went up glacier crest and dug a couple of pits on the S aspect at 2200m Dug down to 1.7 m. CT 21 (first hard tap) SP down 100 cm. Newly formed soft slab (top 10cm) was cracking and failing easily under skis and produced some small sluffs on the way down, but we stuck to well supported terrain. On the exit we saw a couple of small skier triggered slab releases in steep terrain below tree line on the north slopes of Abbot across from Glacier Crest that looked like they were from today.
