Quick Observation

Seemed like about 35cm of fresh snow in the skintrack this morning. Huge whoomps in the cutblock heading towards the ridge but nothing once we entered the trees. Saw one larger slab that had ripped out the previous day or overnight (see photo) ~60-70cm crown and ~80m wide on a steep slope off the north side of the ridge. Otherwise no evidence of activity. Tree shots both north and east off the ridge skied well. Temps dropped throughout the day with 0 deg at ~800m on the drive out.
