Skiing at Pulpit Knob 1 was very busy. Very deep day. Hoots and hollers everywhere. We felt a large whumpf along the lake shore but otherwise stability felt great. Many groups skiing the S aspect with crazy amounts of wind loading. Snow was often waist deep in heavily loaded spots but wind affected, low density and not easy to move through in flatter terrain. We stumbled across a size 2 avalanche debris path in the trees in some steep pillows/cliffs. South aspect with a crown around 80 cms deep maybe. Please see the pictures. It looked to be possibly skier triggered but we were quite unsure. The bed surface felt crusty.
Please see photos. I’ve done the best I can by describing it and photographing it. We did not spend much time below it as we were scared of more sliding.
