Quick Observation
Lots of unreal deep fluffy powder. Afternoon felt a little stiffer than the morning but still no signs of instability in the open treed slope above the hut. Took homerun on the way out, ski cut and popped a small slab (<1) on a roll into a concavity just before the alders. 10-15cm deep, 30m wide. 1890m S. HS140, 30 degree slope: CTM13 (SC) 45 down on slightly denser storm snow. ECTP20 45 down on slightly denser storm snow. Likely both failing on the last weekend's storm surface.
