S2S Gondy to Stadium Glacier

Road access from gondola is spotty for the first ~2km. Coverage on the road is rapidly thinning, probably will be gone by next weekend. Hot and rapidly warming day led to very heavy snow conditions. Within treeline, still edgable snow. Past treeline, heavy wet powder. Lots of sloughing and pinwheeling in steep aspects. Turning on slopes led to even more sloughing of the top 15-30cm of residual storm snow that is becoming heavy from solar radiation. Sun crust underneath top snow on solar aspects. Plenty of avalanche debris underneath steep areas on all aspects, careful on the ski out when coming over rollovers!
