Deep blower pow!

Well, that was deeper than we expected! Crowsnest had waaaay more snow than was forecast. We found 45-50 cm of blower, low-density snow over the crust from the warm spell. It was well bonded and we saw no signs of instability in the new snow. There was no wind at all today, it was just thick, murky cloud above treeline. The visibility was poor. So we stayed in the trees and the riding was amazing! We saw a lot of small dry loose avalanches coming down from the extreme headwalls above throughout the day. No slab avalanches though. Get it before the wind does.
