Blow Me Downs

Went into the Blow Me Downs with the intention of skiing Mainline. Intense loading at the top and fresh storm slab on cross loaded NE slopes caused us to change plans. Decided to check out the lookers-right slope of Joes Garage bowl (SE aspect) and was not disappointed. No storm slab found, just deep powder. Intense loading from the west all day. Slab formation on NE slopes. Large cornices above E and NE slopes. Loose, dry powder on SE slopes.

2 Extended column test failed at 5 taps from wrist but no propagation (one on NE aspect, the other on an E aspect).
