Quick Observation

The skiing was great, with about 25 cm of recent storm snow, no wind and even a bit of sun and blue skies poking through by the end of the day. Light snow fell throughout the day. We dug a pit at the top of a steeper, northeastern aspect and easily cut loose a 25 cm consolidated storm slab after three taps from the wrist. No signs of weak layers below that. We instead chose to ski mellower terrain and saw no signs of instability anywhere. Some visual evidence of past wind effect on some slopes. Also, we saw a bunny, which was awesome.

Snowpack

Extended column test: consolidated storm slab failed at 25 cm after just three taps from wrist. Rest of the snowpack appeared "right side up" and we couldn't produce any other failures in the snowpack.
