Skied a few bumps and ridges off the opal hills trail. Observed some minor whumphing and lots of wind affected snow. On East and South facing aspects the snow was decent, there was wind crust in other aspects. Alpine up 4536 peak and opal peak is pretty bare. There's also a big cornice overhanging a bowl between the two peaks on the west facing aspect.
