Quick Observation

We skied the purple knob loop setting a track up the SE bowl. South aspects of the bowl were receiving a significant amount of wind load (30-50cm) although snow was not consolidated. We noticed a widespread crust on a all slopes we skied raging from 10cm to 50cm deep as well as the anticipated widespread basal faceting. Cornices were beginning to form and could become a hazard with warmer temps.

Avalanche Information

Several naturally triggered size 1 avalanches on S and SE aspects
