Quick Observation

Sledded around 60km of Haines Pass today, observing most aspects. Strong South winds over the past week have created significant windloading on North Aspects, large Sastrugi and wind hammered hard slab on everything else. A few Sz 1.5-2 Natural avalanches noted on steep N. aspects, as well as numerous cornice failures. We skied decent snow in lower angle N facing slopes. Winds: Calm. Air Temps: -6 to -16.
