Balu Pass

Had a fun walk up Balu, weather was warm and wet with morning temps around 0 degrees, snow surface temp was just below 0. Fog up the valley with wet snow falling the whole day making for some bad visibility. The skin track is still in rough shape in a few spots but is starting to fill in a bit. Managed to ride most of it with some creek and rock hopping and some walking throughout. Dug a pit above the col. HS 130cm with F 15cm deep, 4F until 80cm where we found a crust and then another crust down 100cm. Minimal to no basal facets in our pit. CTM12 down 35cm, RP.
